Research Coordinator - Range, Design & Development matrix

Knowledge is the starting point of all strategic development at IKEA of Sweden. To enable better-informed decisions, we gather, create, analyze and share all kinds of knowledge throughout the organization. As Research Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact with the Research in Life at Home team, as well as the direct link to our colleagues at Inter IKEA Systems Business & Consumer Intelligence and at Retail Services. You will be the structural owner of the knowledge work within IKEA of Sweden. As this is a new organization, you will have an opportunity to be part of creating the future!
You will be supporting the team in successfully implementing the Range & Supply intelligence action plan and guiding the Research Manager in allocating the right resources to intelligence activities, setting the right priorities according to business needs and the IKEA year cycle. You will be supporting the ordering processes and tracking resource spending vs. allocation in a systemized way, as well as sharing knowledge and insights with internal and external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you need to have:
- Willingness to be part of building new organization and creating new quality in the ways
of working with consumer and market knowledge.
- Knowledge and understanding of the IKEA value chain, the development process, and the prerequisites of Range & Supply, Inter IKEA Systems, and Retail organizations.
- Experience within project management at IKEA (preferably IKEA of Sweden).
- Preferably university degree or working experience within research/consumer intelligence.

This is a fulltime, permanent position at IKEA of Sweden.
