Are you the right person to develop our future way of working?
As Research Engineer you will be a part of the New Strategic Tools & Process team, which is one of the functions within Global R&D Filler Metals. The main objectives of the department are to develop tools and processes to the R&D organization and to drive increased transparency by developing, managing and visualizing process and project data. As part of the team you will drive the use of advanced technology to obtain the objective to shorten time from product idea to Market.
As a Research Engineer you will develop Tools & Methods to enable fast track development & reduce the need for physical testing. As a Research Engineer you will be exposed to a wide range of physical questions and challenges and will be involved from idea to finalized Tool/Method. You will have the opportunity to develop and shape the role and ways of working.

We think that you have:
- Master of Science in relevant field
- Good Programming skills - C# or similar, Java
- Excellent general Physical science understanding
- Experience of using statistical methods, software
- Creative and analytical skills
- Excellent Capacity for thinking outside the box to create new & innovative ideas
- Enterprising and result orientated qualities
- Practical and pragmatic approach
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience from driving change
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
