Research Engineer

We are looking for a Research Engineer with strong team skills, to the Chemistry & Consumables section within the Purification and Analysis R&D department. The section is responsible for the development and support of various products primarily within Biacore and Protein prep and purification area. The candidate will primarily be working with Biacore applications and sensor chip design. .

Arbetsuppgifter:
Independently and/or jointly in small project teams; plan, perform and document given tasks from Project Manager or Section Manager, to reach given project objectives.Perform experimental work/develop sensor chips with new design for the Biacore platform.Work with characterization, application, verification and process development for NPIs, Product care and research projects, within the Biacore portfolio. Report results both orally at internal meetings and in writing, e.g. eNotebook, technical reports.

The position as Research Engineer is a temporary position between 161001-170731.

Kvalifikationer:
MSc or BSc in in biochemistry, analytical chemistry or similar areasDocumented laboratory experience in the area of protein characterization and application, organic chemistry or analytical chemistryTheoretical knowledge and practical experience regarding BiacoreFlexible, accurate and structured team-playerExcellent communication skillsFluent in English and Swedish both verbally and in writing
