Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Engineer with a strong background in Materials Science or Metallurgy Engineering to join our team. This role is primarily focused on two prestigious European projects in the fields of thermoelectricity and thermal interface materials. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with highly skilled professionals and leading research groups in these fields. This position is laboratory-intensive, involving hands-on work with material synthesis and characterization. You will also contribute to various ongoing projects related to thermoelectric device manufacturing and thermal interface materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Synthesize thermoelectric materials.
Characterize thermoelectric materials and assess their properties using advanced techniques.
Utilize coating methods, such as sputtering, to fabricate barrier layers on thermoelectric materials.
Perform thermal conductivity measurements and contribute to the development of thermal interface materials.
Contribute to thermoelectric device assembly and characterization.



Qualifications:
A Master's or PhD degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy Engineering, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with material synthesis techniques, including powder metallurgy, ball milling, and sintering.
Strong knowledge of thermoelectric materials and their characterization.
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and simulation tools like COMSOL Multiphysics.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
