Research Engineer Network Management

Ericsson Research provides system concepts and technology to secure Ericsson's long term competitive product provisioning.As a research engineer in the area of network management, you will propose technical improvements and novel solutions in the field of network operation and management.You will work with advanced technologies, such as automated fault handling, self tuning, self organizing networks or autonomic networking.The scope includes wireless as well as wired communications networks.Your work will include: analyzing new technologies delivering concept studies to product organizations cooperating with communication network operators developing simulators or prototypes In order to analyse and to prove the concepts studies developing simulators and prototypes will be an important task.If you have any proven experience within this field it will be considered as a merit.You will work in the absolute forefront of technology where you will acquire broad and deep knowledge fast.Qualifications MSc or PhD in computer science, engineering, or similar A solid background in programming in Java/C++ Solid theoretical and practical knowledge in communications technology Innovative, open minded team player yet having the ability to work independently Good communication skills in English Contacts Ericsson is working with Manpower Professional Engineering in this recruitment process.As selection is ongoing, please submit your application as soon as it is ready - do not wait until the cut-off date.
