Research Engineer to a research-based biotech company in Malmö/Lund

Are you passionate about research and innovative immuno-oncology treatments?
Are you experienced in immunological in vivo and in vitro methods? Then you might be the person we are looking for.
On behalf of our customer, we are now seeking a highly motivated Research Engineer to a biotechnology company based in the Malmö/Lund Region. The position is a permanent, full-time (100%) position. As Research Engineer, you will be working closely together with Scientists, Research and Laboratory engineers to fulfill project goals.
Your essential tasks:
To be a part of research projects and perform laboratory activities in vivo and in vitro
Responsibility for planning and performing in vitro and in vivo pharmacology studies.
Analyzing, interpreting, compiling, documentation and reporting on research results



Our Expectations:
We expect the ideal candidate to have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Immunology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry or similar experience achieved through laboratory experience. We also welcome candidates with a PhD degree and a strong interest in practical laboratory work.
Practical experience of independent planning and performing in vivo laboratory work, in combination with experience in more than one of the following areas:
In vivo models within immunology and/or oncology
In vivo treatment (IP, SC and IV)
Knowledge in 3R and experience with ethical applications and relevant guidelines
Ex vivo preparation of cells from tissues
Multi-color FACS set-up and analysis
Preparation of cells from blood and cultivation of mammalian cells
Cell-based assays

Furthermore, we expect the ideal candidate to be:

Genuinely interested in science and hands-on laboratory work

Driven, curious and known for taking initiative
Fluent in English
