JOB DESCRIPTIONAs a Research Engineer, you will be a part of the R&D team that today consists of ~30 people. You will contribute to a multidisciplinary team to develop a world-class product. Your focus will be hands-on laboratory work supporting content development and validation. Your role will involve planning, performing, optimizing, and reporting experiments. Your contribution will be fundamental in generating high-quality results that support project decisions and milestones.
Standard activities will include:[SJ1]
Antibody validation
Antibody conjugation and purification
In situ testing and validation of new assays
Microscopy
Analysing data from human tissue sections
Recording and reporting results
QUALIFICATIONS
To fit the role, you possess a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a relevant scientific field such as Biomedical Science, Molecular and Cell Biology, or Biotechnology. Alternatively, you have equivalent professional experience that aligns with the qualifications.
You bring at least 2 years of working experience in a related field, ideally within an industrial setting. Fluent written and spoken English and excellent computer skills are also requirements.
We are looking for someone with broad experience in laboratory work and strong technical expertise. Desirable competencies include:
Molecular Biology
Working with tissue sections
Experience with in situ assays
Experience with antibodies and antibody-based assays
Immunohistochemistry
Familiarity with histology/pathology
Microscopy
