About us
RISE Computer Science department is the leading Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence lab in Sweden.

You will be joining a unit with a focus on distributed computing in the Edge to Cloud continuum working with Space, Quantum- and High Perfomance Computing. Together with partners and customers from industry and academia we develop sustainable and energy-efficient systems at the frontier of applied science.

About the role
You will lead the work with and develop RISEs 5G edge testbeds together with our partners and stakeholders. The role will require that you work with outreach and build a community of interested users and stakeholders to maximize the benefits made in the testbed infrastructure. You will develop RISEs position within the edge to cloud compute continuum. In this role, you will help strengthen Swedish and European sovereignty in digital and AI solutions. You will have the opportunity to work at a leading and rapidly growing research institute with excellent development opportunities. With a combination of a scientific and business-oriented mindset, you will engage in applied research, combining theory and practice for the users of the testbeds. This position is a permanent, full-time employment.

You have:

- a Master of Science in physics, mathematics, computer science or equivalent
- experience from software- or web development
- experience from working with innovation and innovation systemslong term
- extensive experience of working within the telecommunication sector
- excellent writing and communication skills

Experience from writing funding applications or working with industry is merited but not required.
