Who are we?
AMRA is a ground-breaking international digital health company at the forefront of medical imaging and precision medicine. AMRA was founded in 2010 as a spin-off of Linköping University, Sweden, with the aim to support transformative care and vital decision-making, from clinical research to health and wellness. The company has developed a new global standard in body composition assessment, the ability to automatically produce multiple fat and muscle biomarkers with unrivaled precision and accuracy, as well as contextual disease insights - all from a single whole-body MRI.

Job assignments
In your role as research manager, you will work within the Clinical Science department in a managing role where your focus is on planning and organizing the CS group work. The role also includes documenting and formalizing this work. You will be involved in realizing the department's goals and how they ally with the company goals.
You will have the overall responsibility over how the team resources are utilized and who will be involved in different projects. Your area of responsibility includes planning the resource allocation for:
- Scientific project management
- Product development
- Scientific marketing support
- Scientific sales
- Grant management including scientific writing, planning of research work, and reporting
You will assess and allocate resources for requests from other departments within the organization but often also from customers related to product development, scientific sales and scientific review and management of delivery projects.
You will also be responsible for the work to design and build a process to make our consultancy work more efficient. This includes setting a procedure for what is chargeable hours, how they are planned, and how to report them, overall create and implement an internal administrative process.
This role also requires you to work with grant management. This means coordinating different steps in development of grant applications as well as contributing to the writing of the grants, planning work post award and report progress in the awarded projects.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a candidate with a PhD degree in relevant area, likely medical science or health sciences or other area with documented link to medical science, and strong project management skills. Experience in GCP and ISO14155 is an advantage that is valuable.
Since this is a new position within the company there are a lot of opportunities for development and the role will be customized for you together with your manager. We are therefore looking for a person with a great adaptability to new challenges. You have excellent communication and writing skills, since you are in contact with many people daily and will also be producing research applications and reports. We value former experience in a managing role.
As we collaborate with colleagues and customers all over the world you need to be fluent in both spoken and written English.
