Atlas Antibodies is recruiting a Research Scientist to join the Protein Technologies team at the R&D department. We are a cutting-edge biotechnology company with strong growth, exciting products and an interesting history built on a solid R&D heritage from the Human Protein Atlas project.

The role

In this position you will contribute to the development of current methods for protein analysis as well as the implementation of new technologies. Your main focus will be on our ongoing scientific and strategic work positioning QPrEST™ as the preferred SIL (Stable Isotope-Labeled) protein standard for protein quantification using mass spectrometry. You will have a key role in the Protein Technologies group by continuously contributing with or adapting to identified opportunities. The position also includes the responsibility as Design Owner for the company’s product line for control antigens (PrEST Antigen™) and heavy isotope labeled protein standards for protein quantification using mass spectrometry (QPrEST).

Your profile

We are looking for a lab-based scientist, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, keeping a curious mindset. You will need extensive lab experience, including experimental planning, process optimization and assay development and 3-5 years hands-on experience from LC-MS (mass spectrometry) protein analysis. You furthermore have an understanding and hands-on experience from protein expression and purification systems. You have PhD and/or Master of Science in biotechnology, biochemistry or other related discipline. It is important to possess good communication skills as well as being a flexible and analytical person.
