Research Scientist - Protein Biochemistry

We are looking for you who have a PhD in Protein Biochemistry OR a first degree in Protein Biochemistry and five years laboratory based experience with focus on purification of recombinant proteins.Key Responsibility Areas will be: - Cloning, expression and purification of various target protein constructs.- Characterization of recombinant proteins using e.g.SDS-PAGE, Western-Blot, LC-MS, NMR.- Keep close communication with representatives from crystallography and enzymology and actively participate in the design of new protein constructs.- Be activeky involved in project work.This is a temporary position for approximately one year.You will be employed by Aktivia Science Work AB but will be working at our client pharmaceutical company in the Stockholm area.Since this is a temporary position it is an advantage to live in the Stockholm area or to be able to easily arrange for living there.Aktivia Science Work AB is a consultant company within Life Science specialised in positions within the pharmaceutical industry.You will be employed at Aktivia Science Work AB as a consultant but will work and be placed at our client company.We have offices in Stockholm and in Malmö and are part of Karolinska Institute Science Park in Stockholm and Medeon Science Park in Malmö.We are members in SwedenBIO and Medicon Valley Alliance.You can read more about us at our website, www.sciencework.nu.If you have any questions or anything you would like to discuss, please call Mr.
