Research & Tech Development

We are starting up a new department, named Research & Tech Development, who will be mainly responsible to bridge an organisational gap between IT and Marketing.
The idea is to clearly organise each of these departments’ responsibilities, and at the same time create a new department called the Software Development department which will have specific competence in specialised areas where the organisation could leverage software to increase efficiency.
Generally, Marketing would focus on the communication with the public at large, IT would focus on hardware and physical systems, and RTD would focus on research, metric evaluation, business intelligence, systems and programming.
