Research Technician position for life science industry company

We currently seek a laboratory technician/analyst for our peptide-focused immuno-oncology company, Immodulate Pharma AB. We are located in Medicon Village, Lund, Sweden.


The role involves:
Histological preparation of experimental and clinical tissue samples
Molecular biology analyses of patient samples using general wet-lab techniques
Highly efficient record keeping
Analysis / presentation of research results and report writing
Acting as a communicator between clinical collaborators and in-house staff



The position requires:
Completion of a Master's degree (or equivalent level of education) with a research topic in an area preferably such as oncology or immunology, but also general molecular biology within the human pathology discipline
Experience working in a clinical laboratory
Minimum 2 years experience working in a research laboratory in the life science or pharmaceutical industry
At least 2 years experience with sectioning, preparation and processing of immunohistochemical and immunofluorescent slides, preferably with murine, canine and human samples
Experience in project management and coordination with CROs and clinicians
Experience in clinical trial sample coordination
Experience working with radioactively labelled substances
Experience with primary cell culture
Fluent English, as evidenced by a completed tertiary education in English, or by a satisfactory IELTS score of 7.0 + (or equivalent test)
Some degree of Swedish language knowledge would be helpful for general communication
