The Institute of Biomedicine, Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg invites applications for a researcher position in tumor immunology. The research group has a strong desire to translate basic research findings into new treatment principles for colorectal cancer.

Job assignments
The position as researcher will be linked to a research project focusing on the development and assessment of new models and treatment regimes of colorectal cancer. The collection of methods that will be used in the project includes advanced flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry as well as preparation and culture of primary cells.

Qualifications
PhD in immunology. The applicant should have extensive knowledge in the field of tumor immunology and several years of practical laboratory experience within immunology and cancer research. Other important merits include previous publications within the area of research, extensive experience in flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry, work with experimental animals for cancer research, as well as a good interpersonal skills, and fluency in writing and speaking English.

Employment
The employment is limited (temporary) for 6 months and full-time with placement at the Institute of Biomedicine. First day of employment as agreed.
