Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for a Researcher to build and transfer technology competence to ensure technology leadership and profitable business for Ericsson by:
Contributing to Ericsson research activities
Developing novel concepts, solutions and algorithms with emphasizes on machine learning and computer architecture.
Communicating research result by presenting prototypes, concept demonstrations, preparing publications and patent applications.
You will
Execute research projects and perform studies in the area of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) involving HW-algorithm co-optimization.
Design and simulate neuromorphic/conventional hardware acceleration for ML and AI applications e.g. autonomous driving and extended reality.
Create new technical solutions and protect them with Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
Participate in innovation workshops to come up with new concepts.
Participate in collaborations with internationally top-ranked universities.
To be successful in the role you must have
PhD with work experience relevant to above tasks or similar experience from industry.
Experience from computer architecture design, preferably accelerating hardware. It is a merit to have background or experience in the field of neuromorphic computing.
Experience in AI and ML research projects and studies and programming languages such as Python or C++.
Solid analytical skills and ability to acquire new knowledge,
Outstanding communication and presentation skills in written and spoken English.
