Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for a Researcher to join our forward looking team and ensure technology leadership and profitable business for Ericsson by:
Contributing to Ericsson research activities.
Developing novel spatial understanding concepts, solutions, and algorithms for next gen consumer devices; mobile devices, AR/VR glasses, wearables, robots, drones.
Communicating research results by presenting prototypes, concept demonstrations, preparing publications, and patent applications.
You will
Execute research projects and perform studies in spatial understanding for next gen consumer devices.
Develop new solutions to relevant problems in computer vision, SLAM, object detection, and segmentation.
Build prototypes, evaluate and demonstrate proposed systems and solutions.
Create new technical solutions and protect them with Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
Participate in innovation workshops to come up with new concepts.
Become part of a highly motivated, multi-disciplinary team of researchers working collaboratively.
Work in a dynamic department with opportunities for learning, taking on new responsibilities, and impacting our ways of working.
To be successful in the role you must have
A PhD in relevant technical area related to spatial understanding research, or MSc with similar experience from industry.
Experience in spatial understanding topics, projects and research studies.
Solid programming skills; Python, C++, etc.
A self-propelled inner drive!
A strong curiosity and an innovative mentality!
Awesome communication and presentation skills.
