We are looking for a researcher to work in the field of Printed, Flexible, Bio- and Organic Electronics for a full-time permanent employment in Norrköping.
About the position
The position is specifically connected to RISE Printed, Bio- and Organic Electronics activities in Norrköping that are important strategic research areas within RISE. Your daily work entails performing research assignments in projects that are run in close collaboration with Swedish and international partners from both academia and industry. You will be working together with a team of experts where you will help to maintain our research and development offering at the technological forefront of the field.
The role will have focus on the development of printed, flexible, bio- and organic electronic materials, components and systems. It will also entail the development of testing protocols and methods as well as data analysis to support the development of such systems. The work is anticipated to be both practical and theoretical, with a significant amount of time spent working in the lab. You will need to be versatile, be able to participate in multidisciplinary research and be able to adapt your skills to emerging research fields. Furthermore, you should be able to disseminate and communicate research results clearly in dialog with partners as well as in the form of report writing and presentations. Project management experience and proposal writing skills are a merit.
Who are you?
In order to be successful in the role you will need a good theoretical and practical knowledge of subjects pertaining printed, flexible, bio- and/or organic electronics. You have a PhD or equivalent education relevant to these fields as well as a few years work experience. You speak and write English fluently and are an enthusiastic and inspiring colleague. It is highly important that you are a team player with a pronounced teamwork ability. Within our multidisciplinary research environment, you will need to be able to take the initiative and work independently without detailed guidance/supervision. You have a good understanding of industrial needs, high integrity and the ability to see the potential in the work that you and your colleagues perform.
