The Centre for Social Research on Alcohol and Drugs is a research institute within Stockholm University.
Project description
The researcher will work within a project concerning long term consequences from early life exposure to alcohol.
Main responsibilities
The work involves epidemiological analyses and writing of scientific reports. The project will be conducted in close cooperation vid researchers at Karolinska Institutet (Anna-Karin Danielsson).
Qualification requirements
Researchers are appointed primarily for purposes of research and must hold a Swedish doctoral degree or an equivalent degree from another country.
Assessment criteria
We are looking for a person with a degree in public health, epidemiology or in a similar discipline. The person should have documented analytical skills, with a focus on quantitative methods, and be familiar with at least one of the most common data programs for statistical analyses used in epidemiological research (SAS, SPSS, or STATA). The applicant should be familiar with register based analyses and work with large data bases.
In the appointment process, special attention will be given to research skills based on primarily research with epidemiological methods.
Terms of employment
The position involves full-time employment for a maximum of one year. Start date 2017-08-01 or as per agreement.
