The Department of Clinical Sciences is part of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science and is responsible for undergraduate and post-graduate education and research within anesthesiology, diagnostic imaging, veterinary nursing, veterinary epidemiology, comparative medicine, surgery, medicine, clinical pathology, reproductive biotechnology and domestic animal reproduction.

Duties:
You will mainly work with in vitro embryo production in bovines and porcines. The work involves RNA-analysis and confocal microscopy of embryos. Participation in teaching of undergraduate veterinary students within reproduction can be included in the duties.
Qualifications:
We are looking for you who are a DVM PhD and an ECAR Diplomate in Reproductive biotechnologies and have major experience with embryo production in vitro. Experience of RNA-analysis and confocal microscopy and interpretation of data are required. Drivers licence valid in Sweden is required.
Experience of bioinformatic interpretation of data, toxicology, risk/hazard analysis, 3R, teaching and writing of research applications is desirable.
Particular importance will be attached to the applicant's personal skills such as cooperation skills and flexibility. The applicant needs to be highly motivated, have good social skills and demonstrate the ability to work independently and meticulously. Proficiency in spoken and written Swedish and English is a requirement.
