Our Exciting Opportunity
5G introduce techniques like antenna arrays, beamforming and new mm-wave frequency bands which pose both opportunities and challenges for the radio design that is at the heart of what we do.

The RF Technology unit is part of the Standards & Technology organization within Business Unit Network Products. Our mission is to drive research and leadership in RF technology with focus on 5G and beyond.

We work with technical innovation where emphasis is put on RF design, product performance, hardware architecture and complexity, power efficiency, signal processing, and radio algorithms.

We are now looking for a Researcher to become part of our team.


You will
Create and develop novel concepts, architectures, solutions, or algorithms and introduce them into product development
Perform, document, and communicate research and feasibility studies, system design, measurements, or computer simulations
Innovate!
Protect new technical solutions with Intellectual Property Rights
Develop evaluation tools, demonstrators, or FPGA based radio test beds
Propose research topics and supervise students during their thesis work
Contribute to our research strategy and technology roadmap



To be successful in the role you must have
A PhD within the technical area or MSc with some years of relevant R&D experience within our domain.
Strong analytical skills, being structural, result oriented, and look for creative solutions when lacking information.
Ability to seek solutions to technical questions across organizations being part of a small collaborative team.
Knowledge of system and technologies for low cost/low power RF solutions
A genuine interest in Radio technologies



Additional Requirements
As a person you are self-motivated, positive, and outgoing, in short, an outstanding teammate.
Excellent technical competence and ability to drive own studies
Ability to find and drive continuous improvement work
Good communications skills and a relationship builder
Proficient in written and spoken English
