For our global customer we are looking for a Resident Engineer, automotive placed in Gothenburg.Job description You will be a part of an international team and responsible for the operational activities for design and cost improvement.You are the resident expert responsible for supporting and coordinating the development of innovative solutions for new and existing programs.You will be the interface between our global engineers in the Production Plants and the customer's development engineers.You have to be prepared to travel within Europe.You will attend Engineering meetings according to customer requirements and to ensure all needs are met.[ Supporting progress reviews, assembly t issues and test performances will be amongst your daily tasks.[ Regular status communication of design level, cost and timing for prototypes and serial parts to customer and homebase.Experience skills You have a university degree in engineering or equal by experience.At least 3-5 years experience from the automotive sector and an active network is necessary.Fluent speaking and writing English and Swedish is a demand, knowledge in French or German qualify.Personal skills You are an independent team player with a commercial and cost efficient way of thinking.Proactive, persistent and flexible is common attitudes for you.You have an analytical thinking, are customer focused and you are the expert in your technical area.Welcome with your apply but no later than 14th of December 2008.
