The opportunity
You will be responsible to match resource needs with availability, while taking into consideration skills required, personal preferences and development needs of individuals, and the overall engagement risk. This entails high level coordination with engagement partners and business leaders to balance workloads and address staffing needs as required.
The role will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with business leaders to establish and maintain a successful resource strategy. The role offers the opportunity to build, create something new which includes gaining knowledge of our business operations as well as understand and utilize current and future solutions areas, including new technologies.
Your key responsibilities
Resource Management at EY Strategy and Transaction is fundamentally about understanding supply (our people) and demand (our business). In this position, you will be part of our Nordic operations team, initially focusing on Sweden and as the role develops our aim is creating a cross boarder and Nordic function. The goal is to use supply and demand knowledge to staff projects and contribute to talent development and business growth.
This is an operational role and you will be hands-on with staffing projects as well as contribute to longer-term resource strategy.
Supply:
Maintain a view of current and future consultant availability.
Assign appropriate consultant to engagements, by assessing information presented, reviewing options available and presenting recommendations.
Get to know our consultants as people, understanding their skillset, experience, strengths, weaknesses and career development opportunities or challenges.
Demand:
Work with business leaders to understand current business needs and use your knowledge of consultants to staff the right resources on the right projects.
Work with business leaders to understand future business needs and map a resourcing strategy to fill both current and future skill gaps.
Skills and attributes for success
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing with and without authority.
Ability to work on own initiatives.
Strong interpersonal and people interface skills.
Ability to handle stakeholders at various level.
To qualify for the role you must have
A relevant university degree.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a professional environment demonstrating increasing responsibility.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with executives and internal stakeholders at different levels.
Full professional proficiency in English.
Ideally, you’ll also have
Strong numerical and analytics skills
Prior experience with staffing and/or recruiting
