Boliden Mines are looking for
Resource Geologist
Do you want to make a difference in our operations and contribute in estimating the lifecycle of our mines?
This vacancy is with the department of Ore Reserves and Project Evaluation and is stationed in Garpenberg, Sweden.
Your role
As part of the Ore Reserves and Project Evaluation team, you will work in close cooperation with exploration, technical and mine departments to facilitate development across our project areas.
Resource estimation, geological modelling and other studies that support exploration will be required to fulfil the role, often performed independently or as part of a project team. You will work alongside the team based in Boliden and Garpenberg, Sweden on projects across Boliden’s wider, international portfolio. On occasion you will be required to travel to site.

Your skills
You have a BSc or higher within a Geoscientific field. We welcome those who can look at the big picture, be innovative and take initiative. One who is considerate of others, can develop warm relationships and collaborate well with colleagues.
The results will be presented at meetings and documented in reports in English. Confidence of relevant software (e.g. Datamine, Leapfrog) is beneficial but even more important is a willingness to learn and develop the knowledge.
We believe you will have experience in exploration, mine geology or resource estimation. A valid driving license for car is mandatory when employed.
