The opportunity
To match the growth in our Consulting Service Line business, we are looking to add a member to our Resource Management Team that is responsibility for staffing and matching our Consultants with exciting projects within a diverse client portfolio. The Resource Manager will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our Swedish and Nordic Consulting Teams to maintaining a successful resource strategy.


This role offers the opportunity to gain intimate knowledge of our business operations as well as understand current and future solutions areas, including new technologies.


Your key responsibilities
Resource Management at EY Consulting is fundamentally about understanding supply (our people) and demand (our business). In this position, you will be part of our Nordic Resource Management team focused on Sweden, with a goal of using that supply and demand knowledge to staff projects and contribute to talent development and business growth.


This is an operational role, and you will be hands-on with staffing projects as well as contribute to longer-term resource strategy. You will also get the chance to work together with the pursuit team in order to make resource decisions for projects and solve challenges with a hands-on approach.


Supply:
Get to know our consultants as people, understanding their skillset, experience, strengths, and weaknesses
Maintain a view of current and future consultant availability via operations dashboards

Demand:
Work with Consulting leaders to understand current business needs and use your knowledge of consultants to staff the right resources on the right projects
Work with Consulting leaders to understand future business needs and map a resourcing strategy to fill both current and future skill gaps



Skills and attributes for success
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing with and without authority
Ability to work on own initiatives
Strong interpersonal and people interface skills
Ability to handle stakeholders at various level



To qualify for the role, you must have
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a professional environment demonstrating increasing responsibility
A relevant university degree
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with executives and internal stakeholders at different levels
Full professional proficiency in English



Ideally, you’ll also have
• Good Swedish language skills
• Strong numerical and analytics skills
• Prior experience with staffing and/or recruiting
