We are now looking for a Responsible AI & Data Specialist, with focus on operationalization and execution of H&M Group’s responsible AI and data strategy, to join us and be part of further accelerating this work.

Job Description
As a Responsible AI & Data Specialist focusing on operationalizing and executing H&M Group’s responsible AI and data strategy, you will be an important part in realizing our vision across H&M Group. You will be performing assessments of AI and data products throughout different product lifecycle stages, providing necessary support to various governance initiatives and the Responsible AI and data training and awareness raising program, as well as contributing to other activities of the Responsible AI & Data team.

What you will do
Responsible AI & Data is a multi-disciplinary area, bridging the fields of machine learning and data science with law, psychology, ethics and philosophy, human rights and public affairs. You will be part of a growing inter-disciplinary team with great possibilities to develop in the area and advance your career. Your main focus areas will be:
· Managing the end-to-end operation of responsible AI and data assessment processes across the H&M Group and with relevant stakeholders from initiation to follow-up.
· Orchestrating early risk and impact assessment of AI and data products and, in collaboration with experts from relevant domains, supporting product teams and business units in creating suitable response plans where necessary.
· Providing necessary support to various governance initiatives and in-depth ethical reviews of AI and data products.
· Contributing to the development and delivery of Responsible AI & Data training and awareness-raising initiatives.
· Supporting other ongoing projects and initiatives in the Responsible AI & Data team.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we believe you have the following qualifications:
- A true passion for shaping the future of Responsible AI and data.
- At the minimum a master’s degree in social sciences, philosophy, or law with a strong focus on AI and data. Alternatively, a master’s degree in data science, machine learning or similar with strong interest in the social, ethical, and legal dimensions of AI and data.
- 2+ years of experience in the operations of AI or data governance. Professional experience working with the operations of Responsible AI and data is highly desirable.
- Professional experience in technology-related risk assessment and management, ethics and compliance, or similar.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
An understanding of or interest in global ethical AI and data frameworks and the associated regulatory landscapes is a plus.
Additional Information
This is a full-time permanent position in Stockholm. You will report to the Head of Responsible AI & Data.
