We are now looking for a Responsible AI & Data Specialist, with focus on developing technical approaches and tools to automate the governance of AI/ML, to further accelerate operationalizing this work at H&M Group.

Job Description
As a Responsible AI & Data Specialist focusing on development of practical tools for the application of Responsible AI principles in the production and deployment of AI and Data systems, you will be an important part in accelerating our work with operationalizing Responsible AI & data frameworks across H&M Group. You will research ways to automate AI and data governance and develop archetypes of actionable accelerators/tools for use by the AI product teams. You will also be collaborating with development teams or vendors to scale the proposed accelerators in addition to coordinating with AI Product development teams to understand their current development lifecycle, tech stack and requirements.

What you will do
Responsible AI & Data is a multi-disciplinary area, bridging the fields of machine learning and data science with law, psychology, ethics and philosophy, human rights and public affairs. You will be part of a growing inter-disciplinary team with great possibilities to develop in the area and advance your career. Your main focus areas will be:
· Executing on the operational agenda through development of technical enablers and supporting ongoing tooling initiatives to strengthen the operationalization processes.
· Managing the end-to-end planning and coordination for the development of prioritized tools for Responsible AI governance, with relevant stakeholders.
· Ongoing landscape research on technical tools for Responsible AI operationalization, AI, data and technology governance. Translation of research findings to operationalization aspects for risk identification and mitigation, throughout the AI & Data product lifecycle.
· Technical tools maturity assessment at H&M Group and provide assistance in priority road-mapping.
· Roll-out and socialization of solutions to development teams and other internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Who you are
To be successful in this role, we believe you have the following qualifications:
· At the minimum a master’s degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Applied mathematics or statistics, Computer Science Engineering, or any other STEM discipline.
· 4+ years experience and exposure to a variety of technology solutions, principally Data Science and ML engineering, MLOps, DevOps or solution architecture. Additionally, a strong will to continuously develop your skillset.
· Professional experience in technical solution prototyping/tool development, tech governance, tech risk management or similar.
· Practical experience of Design Thinking approach and project management is desirable.
· Responsible AI operationalization understanding (technical tooling such as fairness metrics, explainability methods, automated model governance across the lifecycle).
· Working knowledge of Python, Databricks/Azure, MLflow or similar, Dashboarding tools (PBI or Tableau), Confluence-Jira, VBA and MS Office.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· An understanding of, or interest in, global ethical AI and data frameworks, associated technology governance, risk management and associated tooling research landscape is desirable.
Additional Information
This is a full-time permanent position in our Business Tech Hubs in Stockholm, Sweden or Bangalore, India. You will report to the Head of Responsible AI & Data.
