Restaurant & Bar Manager
We are happy to announce that we are now looking for a Restaurant & Bar Manager at Nordic Light Hotel!

Restaurant & Bar Manager has the operational responsibility for the restaurant and bar at Nordic Light Hotel.
Restaurant & Bar Manager reports to the F&B Manager and is part of the department head group of the hotel.
Main duties & responsibilities
• Ensure the required level of service is being executed accordingly sequence of service and hotel standards
• Responsible for updating SOP’s, routines and sequence of service
• Ensure all staff has clear instructions in order to carry out their tasks before, during and after service
• Smart and productive scheduling for all outlets accordingly financial targets
• Work towards set targets within guest satisfaction, staff satisfaction
• As well as financial targets
• Concept and product development together with Executive Chef and F&B Manager
• Purchasing of beverage, equipment and consumables for the outlets
• Create and maintain relations with suppliers and negotiate deals for the hotels advantage
• Take part within the commercial development for the outlets as well as planning and activating restaurant and bar together with F&B Manager and commercial marketing team
• Administrate group and individual bookings in order to maximize
• Hiring, on-boarding and coaching of staff
• Annual development planning for staff
• Programming and updating of point of sale
• Monthly inventory
• Hold info briefings and staff meetings
• React on guest feedback and complaint handling
• Risk management of work environment for hygiene and safety
• Represent the hotels core values internally and externally
• Be a role model for colleagues through leadership
• Actively seeking information and personal development that generates personal and company value
Who you are
• Documented experience in a similar position
• You have experience of management work and/or documented leadership skills
• You have a passion for food and drinks as well as knowledge of wine and other beverage
• Excellent motivating, training and follow through skills
• You have a energetic approach to deliver genuine guest service at all times
• Highly organized, results-oriented, work well under pressure
• Fluent in English in speech and writing, to be able to understand Swedish
The position is full time and requires that you are able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
