Are you an energetic person who likes working close to people and have a real interest in food & beverage? Join us on our journey to create a top-class customer experience onboard our vessel's restaurants and bars! As Restaurant & Bars Development Manager, you will be a part of Stena Line’s One Company goal by strengthening our concepts and products for all our restaurants and bars onboard our vessels, across our different business regions.
You will have the overall responsibility for the standardization, development, and continuous improvement of our Food & Beverage outlets. The role also includes being responsible for the achievement of standards, quality, and profitability – driving and optimizing sales and gross profit.
Some of your key responsibilities:
- Plan and execute activities onboard to Optimize Onboard Sales and Services (OSS) profitability
- Establish strong collaborations and cooperation with all stakeholders, particularly the representatives from the business regions.
- Support and guide colleagues and stakeholders to share appropriate thoughts and ideas to achieve results.
- Work with the regional Onboard Services Managers and F&B Coordinators to ensure standardization of products & concepts are maintained
- Quality control and ongoing quality development
- Ensuring route execution of concept and product development for all restaurant, café, and bar locations.
- Use customer insights, root cause analytics, and best practices to identify improvements, realize and develop plans and ensure implementation
- Closely liaise and support systems and digitalization development for F&B liaising with system owner and Transformation Lead
- Suggest, plan and execute promotional activities onboard in cooperation with onboard crew

This role requires a fair amount of traveling onboard our vessels, so it’s perfect for you who enjoys a bit of adventure. You will be reporting to our Group Food & Beverage Manager and work across our entire network of 18 routes and 36 vessels.

Qualifications:
- Proven track record within the hospitality industry
- Experience working in a multiple-unit operation with outlets such as buffé, a la carté, bars, and cafés.
- Fluent in Swedish and English
- Great computer skills
Nice to haves:
- Experience working with central standards and implementing them across a large geographically widespread business
- Experience in Quality Assurance, managing central standards on a local level
- Experience in holding presentations and training employees
