In the middle of Kragerø center, you will find your new summer uncle who can offer the best of an American diner and Norwegian summer food. To Onkel Oskar you come on sandals, bicycle and rowing boat. And preferably with a sunburned back. It's nice here, but you can leave both the tuxedo and the ball gown at home. But who are you? Whether you can walk through all the narrow streets in Kragerø blindfolded, or have to aim the beautiful southern pearl into the GPS, we need you this summer. We have all kinds of visitors with us, so you fit perfectly here.

What we need from you

. Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
. Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
. Organize and supervise shifts
. Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
. Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses
. Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
. Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
. Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
But who are you?
. A passion for hospitality and the food industry
. You´re up for working as part of a dynamic team
. Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail
. Warm, professional, and approachable towards guests, helping to make their experience as memorable as possible
. Strong organizational skills and a structured, precise and reliable approach
. The ability to take on a large work capacity and multi-task under pressure
. A desire to adapt, learn and try things differently
Your set of skills
. Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
. Proven customer service experience as a manager
. Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
. Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
