Restaurant sjef/manager - Lovund Hotell

As restaurant manager at Lovund hotel, you must be driven to deliver quality at the very highest level and have the ambition to lift a product that is already very good to new heights together with your colleagues.

As a person, you are service-minded, positive and professional, and you contribute to creating a good working environment.

You have a passion for food and drink in combination, a great interest in wines, you have experience from a similar position in the hotel industry and you are genuinely concerned with details and good guest service

The position will start up by agreement, no later than 01 March 2024.

Competence:
- Somelier or equivalent experience is an advantage
- Good financial understanding
- Good experience from restaurant work
- Is a confident and clear leader
- You are good at handling guests with high expectations.
- You have an eye for detail, are creative and innovative.
- Committed and has a good mood.
- Neat, efficient and structured.
- You take responsibility and carry out/complete the tasks you have.
- Independent, positive and welcoming.
- You are flexible and hardworking.
- Speak English on a professional level. (Scandinavian is an advantage).
- Driving license class B is an advantage

Tasks:
- You will manage the restaurant
- Pairing wines in combination with our menues
- Training of new employees
- Planning and follow-up of daily work distribution
- Motivate and engage your colleagues
- Goods handling and stock control, including ordering goods
- Manage and build up our new wine cellar
- Plan menus and operations in collaboration with the head chef
