Result oriented Researcher

You will be a part of ABB Corporate Research in Västerås. We develop the foundations for the next generation of ABB products and systems. At our centre we work with a world reaching responsibility for research and technology development that we carry out on behalf of the ABB Group. At the department of Power Technologies we work with Power Systems, Power Products and Electrical Machines.

Would like to work at the absolute forefront of technology? We are currently 17 senior Researchers in the Advanced Modeling & Control group at Corporate Research. We work with long-term development projects as well as shorter assignments and ABBs division Process Automation is our primary partner. Your competence and knowledge holding a PhD within Automatic Control and Signal Processing will be applied in many different areas. As part of Corporate Research you will find unique development opportunities. We collaborate with experts specialized in different technical areas, both within and outside ABB. If you like team work and have the ability to generate innovative, creative and effective solutions you are the right person for us.

You hold a PhD in Automatic Control, Signal Processing or similar. Proficiency in verbal and written English and Swedish is a requirement, whereas knowledge in German will be counted to your advantage. It is qualifying if you have worked with Dymola, Modelica, Maple and Matlab. Your personal skills are of crucial importance in this role. You are an independent and driven, innovative and curious team player with high integrity.
