The D&IT Retail Development area is witnessing a surge in demand for innovative digital solutions. We have exciting challenges to solve including creation of a virtual events platform, a new dealer portal, a new approach to used equipment, continued evolution in competence development, translation automation, and more. And right now, we are looking for a Solution Leader to accelerate digitizing our Dealer and Customer experience.
Opportunity description
This Solution Leader role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and to be a part of a cross-functional team. Our team values inclusion and we focus on value creation and innovation. As a member of the team, you will experience a strong working relationship within Digital & IT, Centers of Expertise, Regions, Dealers, and Customers and directly impact the digital interaction with Volvo CE.
In this role, you will manage all aspects of solution management and lifecycle including but not limited to roadmap development, business demand, enhancement planning and execution, maintenance and roll-out activities, as well as budgeting in alignment with the overall Volvo CE and D&IT strategies. You will have the opportunity to contribute to projects as needed.
D&IT Retail Development is a global function responsible for providing IT support and expertise to Brand, Marketing, and Communications as well as the Retail Development area. In this role, you will have the opportunity to further develop and create an enhanced Dealer and Customer Experience. The opportunities in this position are limited only by your passion.
The position will report directly to the Head of Digital and IT Retail Development within Digital Dealer and Customer Experience.
Mindset and Competence
You have an IT background and knowledge of how to effectively utilize Information Technology to develop the business.
You seek a holistic end to end understanding of process and solution dependencies and interfaces.
You are open-minded, positive, creative, fond of technology, and have a “make it happen”, “learn on the fly” attitude.
You are motivated and a self-starter.
Experience in project and change management is beneficial.
You have failed and overcome difficulties and learned from mistakes.
You have demonstrated a growth and learning mindset in yourself and as an example to others.
