Job Summary:

The Retail Manager will be responsible for the effective delivery and administrate the assortment onboard each airline. The primary focus is on 3 aspects: i) Managing the range change process for onboard and pre order sales including planned assortment and monthly/weekly promotions. ii) Management of crew engagement activities and incentives including education of crew in sales and using the onboard sales tool EPOS. iii) Read, take action and response all cabin crew reports for each airline.

The Retail Manager will have a solid reporting line into Account Directors holder to ensure that the service delivery is fully embedded in the region and is aligned with the regional strategy prioritised.

Communication with the client /airline is of central importance to the success of the relationship. Also the communication with internal co-workers is of central importance.                                                                                                                        

Main Duties and Responsibilities:





Assortment change owner of Onboard - Project leader for the onboard production
- Project lead: lead the co operation between all involved stakeholders in Kista, Tibro, UK and Serbia,weekly meetings and chasing for progress
- Reporting of progress to steering committé Charter monthly
- Ownership of assortment range change onboard
- Ownership of the RSP's (retail sales prices) up to external approvals from customers





Relationship with customer
- daily communication regarding all operational topics with the airlines
- seeking for the approvals eg for pricing and assortment
- improvement of the existing customer relations and creating new relations
- ownership of the external meetings with the customers





Internal information flow
- new information from customer to internal stakeholders
- secure that the information flow is up to speed and updated





Monthly Deep Dive Assortment Analysis and Review
- deep analyzes of existing assortment per sales channel (pre order, cafe, store)
- generate 3 findings for improvement of the assortment or business
- prepare a PPT presentation for each meeting





Responsible for the follow up of the retail business





Activity plan for pre-order and Onboard including Crew incentives
- create activities for crew incentives and sales promoting activities
- implement activities with each customer
- follow up and analyze the result of the activities per customer





Operational co-ordination of pre order vs Tibro and Operations department





Project lead of onboard assortment change





Reading and answering Cabin Reports
- internal documentation of each cabin report
- reply the customers with explanations/comments from each department (and collect the information from stakeholders)
- analyze the trends and the overall picture based on cabin reports





Crew Engagement according to activity plan and education of sales and EPOS system
- information to customer in meetings - create presentations in PPT (B2B)
- training onsite and online
- update crew procedure manuals (service concept and EPOS)
- collect information from category and operations





Activity plan for pre-order and Onboard including Crew incentives





Crew and Sales Manual ownership - update and review manuals

Qualifications





Retail experience minimum of 3 years in a B2B and B2C environment
- retail experience from travel retail
- deep analyst knowledge of assortment range
- create regular briefs to category and marketing based on analyzes





Relationship building knowledge
- create sustainable relations with customer with the maximum benefit for gateretail
- act like a sales person





Communication skills - internal and external communication to airline and crew
- in writing and speech - Swedish and English mandatory, Danish good understanding





Deep knowledge in Excel
- be able to work in Excel pivot
- knowledge in gateretail BI system





 Education: Degree level in business or related discipline

 Language / Communication Skills:


• Complete fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
• Further languages (for example Norwegian/Swedish is essential in the Retail role.
