In this strategic and operational role, you will be the right hand of one of our Deputy Retail Operations Managers and support the effective and efficient functioning of the Retail Operations Management team. While this role is complex and demanding, it also requires humbleness and a strong can-do attitude. One moment you might be doing administrative tasks such as booking travels, and the next you might have a presentation for the country retail managers on a topic that you lead. Depending on your experience, aptitude and interest you will have good possibilities to lead and co-lead global topics on behalf of the deputy you support.
As our preferred candidate you have experience working in the market, strong project management skills and a proven track record of demonstrating strong IKEA leadership skills. Without a doubt you are strongly driven by the IKEA values, the IKEA vision and our business model. You understand the complexity of the IKEA business and the role of Retail Operations Support Assistant as an integrated part of the business.
You can manage a high workload and you have a strong ability to use sound judgements to make timely and effective decisions. You will manage multiple projects and topics parallel under tight time constraints and for you to be happy in this position you need to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
We see this role as a steppingstone, where you as our preferred candidate will be able to gain experience and exposure to develop and grow, for you to be ready for your next step on your leadership journey in 2-3 years.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support Retail Operations Managers and Deputy Retail Operations Managers across a range of initiatives and organizational, strategic and operational tasks
• Work across functions within INGKA Group and in good collaboration with other IKEA businesses
• Drive projects and assignments defined by the Retail Operations Managers
• Prepare presentations, speeches and interviews
• Plan, organize, and coordinate meetings
• Project manage large internal events
• Secure that documents and platforms are updated and communicated
