Retail & Food Services AB is a leading distributor and wholesaler of Travel Retail products in Northern Europe to a number of large Vendors within mainly the transport sector, but also to airports and other Travel Retail distributors including our own Travel Retail shops. We are now looking for a highly dynamic Retail Sales Manager.

What will you do?
As a talented and motivated Retail Sales Manager, you will exercise independent judgment as well as develop strategies to drive your business. You have the ability and desire to motivate and inspire your store leadership teams to provide excellence in merchandising presentation, customer experience, and operational execution. You provide leadership and direction to each Store Manager and team to create an environment that ensures customer satisfaction, maximum productivity, and profitability by translating and implementing company and brand developed business plans and strategies.

Some of your key responsibilities:
- Accountable for managing the team, resources, and category targets through direct reports. Manage overall product portfolio performance
- Accountable for the stores´ P&Ls
- Leads, coaches and develops professional aspects of Product & Procurement team members
- Ensures that Category Strategies are highly aligned to current and future Business need and that the supply base is capable of supporting these strategies
- Manage governance within the portfolio ensuring commercial decisions are aligned with the overall business strategy and up/downstream stakeholders
- Conduct annual peer reviews of category and market strategies
- Ensure that the underpinning process improvement activities deliver the expected business value & net profitability in accordance with the strategic plans

How you will make a difference
You partner with different areas across the business to support company objectives and support brand programs. You hire, develop, and train strong store teams from diverse applicant pools, and support hiring plans so that all stores are at optimal staffing levels, while ensuring a quality on-boarding experience. You identify opportunities to leverage and maximize sales and monitor KPIs to creating accountability in achieving company goals.

By strategically analyzing business opportunities, your teams achieve business goals. You ensure the teams comply and adhere to policies and procedures and align to the overall company strategy. You address challenges such as sales, merchandising, leadership issues, profitability, and staff management, while leading and inspiring a consumer centric culture by recognizing and rewarding teams.

What success looks like
You successfully meet and exceed sales results and business goals, while giving direction and support to the team. You continually coach and develop your teams, foster an inclusive environment for the teams and consumers, while leading by example and creating accountability.

Who are you?
We are on a journey adding several new retail units to our business. This calls for candidates showing entrepreneurship and specifically experience from establishing stores and negotiating rents and other landlord terms. We are looking for someone who is a pragmatic and agile doer with comprehensive retail management experience. To be successful in this role you will preferably need to have a solid background from international retailing. We also believe that you have strong business development skills and a commercially savvy attitude. Should you have previous experience from the Travel Retail business or nearby sector, it is considered to be a plus. As Retail Sales Manager, you will need to be independent, self-driven and enjoy working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. Your level of drive lies far above average, and your problem solving skills enables you to challenge the status quo and come up with ambitious solutions.

The must-haves:
- A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees or equivalent work experience and/or professional achievements
- Advanced knowledge of the Office product Suit and especially Power Point & Excel
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Malmö within Retail & Food Services AB. This job requires frequent travelling within Europe and from time to time work during weekends.
