Job Description
We are now looking for a Retoucher to join our team in the Stockholm atelier. As a Retoucher you will manage the entire image process from handover to final delivery. This position is mainly for retouching pack shots, still-life images, e-com looks and other artistic or inspirational images – shot in our studio or on location. It may also include retouching of campaign images and edit and grade moving content. Please see our website stories.com for examples of our imagery.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
Manage the entire retouching process from raw digital files or scans through to final delivery - including but not limited to: masking, colour correcting, dusting, correcting samples, soft proofing, optimizing images for print, knowledge of RGB & CMYK colour modes and conversions.
Secure correct level of retouch according to brief from Art Director, reference prints and general set guidelines.
Prioritize and deliver images according to set plan as team leader communicates.
Ensure that all our files are reproducible for global exposure for online and store usage, as well as in printed media.
Manage and organize image files on our servers and DAM-system.
Work according to the process set within the retouch team and keep team leader informed.
Administration including (but not limited to) quality check, cropping images according to set formats and guidelines, changing filenames, uploading files to our DAM-system.
Handle product samples.
Work together with Art Directors, stylists, photographers & team leader to improve our imagery.
Edit and grade moving media content.

Qualifications
We would like to meet a candidate who:
Has been studying retouch/image editing and has some working experience.
Is familiar with e-com production workflow and pace.
We believe that you are creative, structured, organized and has strong time management skills. As well as a strong team player with a positive attitude!

Additional Information
This is a part time position (75%). Starting as soon as possible or as per agreement. You will be based in our Stockholm Atelier and report to Photo Studio Team Manager.
