At Cerner, we’re working at the intersection of health and technology. We create software solutions to support clinicians and healthcare professionals in hospitals and healthcare organisations worldwide, and we are looking for a Senior Revenue Cycle Architect (RCA) to join exciting projects across multiple regions in Sweden, deploying integrated digital health, social, and dental care environment, replacing many existing IT systems in hospitals and primary care facilities for a comprehensive solution.
As a Senior Revenue Cycle Architect, you will lead revenue cycle integration, workflow and technical design across all revenue cycle solutions and venues. You will influence workflow and technical decisions, articulating operational and financial impacts to client and Cerner project teams. You will participate in executive-level client discussions regarding revenue cycle expectations and opportunities for improvement. You will manage and resolve project escalations as a point of contact for revenue cycle leadership. You will lead clinically driven revenue cycle (CDRC) conversations across venues. You will consult with CIO, CFO, and revenue cycle leadership to define financial metrics, key performance indicators and reporting prior to conversion. You will participate in legacy accounts receivable planning conversations and decisions. You will contribute to continuous process improvement opportunities within the Revenue Cycle Architect community.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or 4 years equivalent relevant work experience
Plus 4 years completed higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job including:
At least 2 years of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) - Healthcare Financial Management Association
Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) - Healthcare Financial Management Association
Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) - American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management
Expectations:
Willing to relocate to Gothenburg, Sweden
Willing to travel up to 100% as needed
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
