Tallink Silja AB’s Revenue Management department is in an exciting phase! We are developing new projects (big and small), which will lead to company growth (in passenger volume and total revenue). We are currently looking for a dedicated Revenue Manager who wants to contribute to our growth as well as grow with us.
As Revenue Manager, you are a key part of our agile organization, with a very close collaboration together with Sales and Marketing departments. You are part of a dedicated and business-oriented team working with the analysing of our products, optimizing cabin prices and capacity and preparing adhoc reports. Your work mainly involves identifying, analysing and interpreting trends/patterns in complex datasets; contribute to implement more advanced forecast for passengers and total revenue; monitoring the balance between the sales process and demand; continuous analysis of prices and customer segments and, if necessary, changing sales strategies.
Main areas of responsibility:
Responsible for best practice standards including competitor analysis; environmental scanning; market modeling; inventory availability by channel; pricing control and personalized offers.
Annual budgeting and provide monthly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons.
Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting.
Create and develop pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of different products (cruise vs non-cruise passengers).
Analyze overall monthly route performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long term strategies.
Challenge and influence different departments in order to maximize the revenue.

Requirements:
A relevant educational background, such as IT, mathematics, statistics or economy.
The ability to convey complex information in an accessible and pedagogical manner.
A genuine interest in data analysis, statistics and programming.
Accurate, flexible, efficient and keep deadlines.
The ability to work independently as well as cooperate in a team.
A good knowledgebase of the Office package.
Fluency in English, in speech as well as in writing. Knowledge in Swedish is meritorious.

You value and base your work on Tallink Silja’s key values: joy, commitment, cooperation and professionalism. Work experience in data analysis and programming in Python (or R or any similar one) and direct experience of revenue management is a merit.
Our office is located in Värtaterminalen, Stockholm. We offer a fulltime position and we apply 6 months trial employment. We have set the start date as soon as possible with consideration for resignation period.
