We are now seeking a talented Rewards Leader, responsible for the Nordics, to join the Global Rewards team within Nouryon. This new position is aimed specifically at a high achieving self-starter, who is passionate about building a best in class Global Rewards presence, inside a truly global company.

YOU WILL

The Reward Leader, Nordics ensures that all compensation, benefits, pension and recognition programs enhance the organization’s ability to attract, retain and recognize employees across the Nordic region. The role requires in-depth knowledge of labor markets and practices as they relate to compensation, benefits, pension and overall reward and recognition programs.

Accountabilities

- Partner with Nordics HR and business leaders to identify, design and implement Reward solutions to help attract and retain talent
- As part of the Global Rewards, team, oversee the merit cycle across the Nordics; ensure timelines are communicated, managers understand and properly use the Success Factors module and reward decisions are aligned with performance
- Partner with HR Operations / Payroll to ensure the delivery of reward elements (base, STI, pension, etc.) comply with and conform to collective agreements; develop necessary controls and audit procedures. Provide counsel to HR Business Partners and HR Operations regarding offer packages, job evaluations and ad-hoc salary adjustments or promotions
- Partner with the Global Mobility team to ensure the accurate and timely flow of information on behalf of those on international assignment in the Nordics
- Represent the Company from a Rewards perspective with the Employers Association (Svenskt Näringsliv/IKEM) and applicable Works Councils
- Participate with the Global Rewards team on projects, key workflows and process timelines (e.g. annual merit cycle)
- With the Global Rewards team, identify external compensation market sources and help assess general market movements, structure changes and trends for the Nordics
- With HR Business Partners, prepare, analyze and present rewards-related materials for discussion and consultation with local Works Councils
- Understand general employment markets, movements and trends and advise how they impact the development and construction of Collective Level Agreements relevant for Nouryon

In this role you report to the Global Rewards Director.

YOU ARE

To be successful you have a strong hands-on background in Compensation and Benefits across the Nordics and have experience in global Reward processes. You are highly analytical, are-change oriented and can manage delivery of reward programs and processes flawlessly. You build relationships and advise the organization by contributing your expertise while understanding the complexities of the broader labor market. You are able to balance business and legal requirements and contribute to ways of working and process development.

Experience

- Several years of compensation and benefits experience in a multinational employer or HR consultancy
- Expertise reviewing, analyzing and advising on Reward elements; particularly as they relate to and impact Collective Agreements and labor practices
- Detailed knowledge in compensation benchmarking, competitive survey sources and related analysis
- Experience overseeing the annual salary review, merit and incentive process
- Strong knowledge of Swedish and Nordic pension schemes, design, regulations and compliance
- Experience in job evaluation systems and maintenance of grading structurers
- In-depth background in Swedish labor markets, compensation best practices and collective agreement policies; familiar with Finnish employment markets, practices and policies
- Background in payroll a plus
- Knowledge of HR systems, specifically Success Factors

- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
- Ability to present and influence across all levels of the organization
- Fluent in both Swedish and English
