RF Engineer

We are searching for an excellent candidate interested in mainly working with the deployment, planning & handling of 5G chamber systems ensuring that our products can be tested.

You will:
Secure Test Case Coverage for 1-O and 2-O products
Continuously work in reviewing 5G chamber system tender submissions and contribute in making recommendations to the organization
Participate in 5G chamber system deployments, Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing proceedings
Work with 5G chamber system HW and passive antenna planning & handling
Contribute to specifying and deploying RF instrumentation for 5G chamber systems
Help maintain 5G chamber system integrity
Organize, maintain and update 5G chamber system requirement specifications
Assist and participate in OTA measurement trials including establishing Uncertainty in Measurement
Be part of the development, implementation and maintenance of the global OTA Chamber Strategy for our 5G chamber measurement capability and preparedness; ensure that it is cost effective and cost efficient
Work together with colleagues in driving our understanding within all chamber’s classes such as Reverberation Chambers, Anechoic Chambers, Compact Ranges and Near-Field Ranges
Roll up your sleeves and deal with every-day 5G chamber challenges ensuring that we optimize our effectiveness and efficiency.

This is full-time assignment and is started ASAP or by agreement, ordering is 6 months at a time with planned extension.


Required competence
Minimum 2 years’ experience within OTA testing in the RF domain
Knowledge within OTA Radio Performance Requirements and Regulation according to 3GPP; knowledge about signal sources and signal generators, spectrum and network analyzers, radio frequency power measurements, amplifier measurements, filter measurements etc
Knowledge of RF microelectronics such as low-noise amplifiers, mixers, transmission lines etc
Knowledge of scientific computing e.g. Matlab
Experience of Free-Space Ranges

Candidates must be good team players and able to manage their own time and workload.
Candidates shall have good written and verbal communication skills in English, good written and verbal skills in Swedish is a plus.



Wanted competence
Degree in Electrical or Physics Engineering or similar.
