About this opportunity
Digital Production System (DPS) within Development Unit Networks (DNEW), has the mission to enable efficient development worldwide with our engineering environment as a competitive advantage, for present and future business needs. This is achieved by enabling flow and willingness, improve collaboration with aligned way of working as well as optimizing efficiency through infrastructure sharing. The Tools Provisioning Service department, which is a part of the RAN Pipeline Services (RPS) Sector in DPS, is responsible for providing RF Tools and environment, OTA chamber deployment as well as User Equipment (UE), for DNEW 4G&5G RAN and Cloud RAN product development and verification.
We are now looking for an RF Tools Engineerer, to join our experienced and professional RF Team.
What you will do
Work closely with Team colleagues, Stakeholders (mainly Test Engineers) and our internal Service provider SAN Lab Operations
Collect, define and analyze requirements related to new and existing RF Tools, measurements and environments
Evaluate, propose and drive technical solutions related to new and existing RF Tools and environments
Interact with external Suppliers
We expect you to have a holistic attitude, a critical thinking and that you generate positive energy in the team. This role is of course of a deeply technical nature, requiring a very good understanding of RF requirements, environments, testing and measurements, as well as related technologies and methods like beamforming, channel emulation, fading, OTA etc.
You will bring
B.Sc. or relevant education on similar or higher level
Knowledge in 3GPP/OTA 5G requirements & standardization for Radio base stations (AAS/NR etc.)
Solid knowledge in the Radio performance verification area
Experience from Regulatory approval/market access requirements for radio products
Experience from RF measurements, environments and related tools in general
Experience in collaboration with 3rd party vendors
A capability to always improve, as well as a sense of urgency
A broad technical interest and curiosity
Skills to drive technical challenges independently as well as in a group
Skills in preparing technical documentation such as requirements, specifications and reports
Excellent communication skills, required to work across organizations and companies
A quality attitude and critical thinking
