HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems. The team at HVDC Valves are designing, manufacturing, testing, and manage the converter valves for HVDC and SVC applications. As a Risk Analysis Expert, you will have the responsibility for the proper implementation of risk analyses for converter valve products.

Your responsibilities
Managing and implementation of risk analyses throughout the lifecycle of the valve products.
Lead failure investigations and root cause analysis for valve products.
Train and coach in FMEA methodology and product risk management.
Revisit and update FMEA as needed when design changes are done to a product or solution.
Support tenders and projects with product related risk management requirements.

Your background
Experience in risk analysis methods such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Reliability Availability Maintainability and Safety (RAMS)
You are communicative and collaborative, especially since the position entails interaction with a wide variety of stakeholders, both internal and external across all organizational levels
Leadership experience and skills to thrive in a dynamic environment with technical challenges.
Technical experience of HVDC systems and converter valves is an advantage.
Certification in Lean six Sigma is preferred
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Knowing Swedish language is a merit
