Risk Analyst with negotiation skills

To complete a transaction all we need from our customers is an email address and a postal code. It should be easy to buy things online but it should of course be safe as well.

Needless to say, Credit and Fraud Risk Management is in the core of Klarna´s product. Our portfolio is growing in size and complexity as we introduce new markets, payment options and products. Now we are looking for additional Risk Analysts to the Credit Risk division.

As a Risk Analyst you are comfortable with making analysis and driving projects to materialize your conclusions. The thought of making the next big deal excites you, and you thrive in independently planning and executing on negotiation strategies, while developing long-term external relationships.


Required Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor´s degree in economics, finance, industrial engineering or equivalent
Hands-on experience of quantitative analytics and methods
Great skills in Excel and knowledge in general programming such as SQL
A track record of delivering on projects and initiatives
Oral and written presentation skills, with emphasis on English


Preferred Qualifications

Experience in independently driving projects
Demonstrated skills in developing external relationships
Entrepreneurial mindset
Experience from procurement or contract negotiations
To be successful in this role you have a strategic and analytical mindset and are good at getting things done. You are innovative and have the ability to see solutions where others see dead ends. You are comfortable in picking up the phone to find new solutions and you also have a big interest for new technologies and always strive to improve the business.
