Risk Analysts with great business sense

To complete a transaction all we need from our customers is an email address and a postal code. It should be easy to buy things online but it should of course be safe as well. Needless to say, Credit and Fraud Risk Management is in the core of Klarna´s product. Our portfolio is growing in size and complexity as we introduce new markets, payment options and products.

The Credit Risk division´s main responsibilities are to handle and mitigate Klarna´s different exposures to risk, primarily fraud and credit, minimizing data costs, maximizing approval rate and revenues and represent the risk perspective in cross functional projects. The division is divided into several teams with their unique responsibilities. However, there is of course one thing in common for all of them - they consist of smart, driven, brilliant people. Now we are looking for additional Risk Analysts to the Credit Risk division.

As a Risk Analyst you have a great interest in quantitative analytics and interested in working with large data sets. You combine an attention to detail with the ability to zoom out and see the complete picture. You strive to improve the business and yourself. You like to work with big and small projects and always strive to learn something new.

Required Qualifications

-A minimum of a Bachelor´s degree in industrial engineering, economics, finance or in a quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, statistics or computer science
-A track record of delivering on projects and initiatives
-Oral and written presentation skills, with emphasis on English
-Fast learner when it comes to new concepts and use of new software

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in working in a data driven business, e.g. payments, mobile, e-commerce, insurance, credit or fraud prevention
- Great skills in Excel and SQL, R, SAS, Python, Matlab or similar platforms
- Great skills in quantitative analytics and methods
