SunGard Front Arena develops Position Control software for a global customer base of leading investment banks. Our business critical systems are used on trading floors around the world by demanding customers. They expect the vendor to know their business and provide the right solutions that give them an edge on competitors. Front Arena’s Development team is looking for a Business Analyst who is passionate about providing the best software solutions for FX and Money Market (MM) trading at Tier One institutions. The position is based in central Stockholm and reports to the FX MM FXO Product Manager.

We are seeking to recruit a Risk Business Analyst to Sungard.

Are you the next colleague to join our Front Arena Development team?

SunGard Front Arena’s development team is looking for a senior Business Analyst who is passionate about providing the best software solutions for risk including VaR, Counterparty Risk calculation and limits and CVA at major global financial institutions. Derivatives risk management in the current climate of increased and rapidly changing regulation is becoming more deeply entwined with the Front Office than ever before. This raises exciting opportunities for combining the two areas in a unique solution offering for the future. The aim for the successful candidate in this role will be to facilitate Front Arena in realizing this goal.

Helping the team to crystallize, communicate and execute on elements of the long term strategy for risk based on a deep understanding of todays risk needs.
Produce software development specifications to drive highly motivated developers to deliver.
Liaise with clients to keep the software close to the market demands.
Help deploy the resulting software within key projects as necessary.
Evangelize on the software internally.



Din bakgrund:



You have a degree level education and at least three years direct Risk Software experience in a major institution or vendor serving such institutions possibly as junior Risk Manager, trader reporting support or software specialist with relevant direct experience.
It is an advantage if you have an understanding of the competitive landscape for Risk software and proven ability to drive software development through specification or direct development team leadership.
You are ideally fluent in English and Swedish and have the ability to write functional specifications and communicate business justifications for their execution.
As a Development Business Analyst in a client focused role you need excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
You also possess excellent analytical skills with a strategic mindset. You need to demonstrate exceptional understanding of software development required to meet the demands of end users and have the ability to connect with senior risk managers on their terms and engage with their business needs.
