The purpose of the job is to build the IKEA brand through effective and efficient communication in situations where IKEA products, production or raw materials could lead to negative attention from media, customers or other stakeholders.

Your assignment is to deliver strategic advice, official IKEA statements and hands-on communication support to the global PR and Laws & Standards networks as well as to IKEA of Sweden Business Areas and our Supply Chain.

We expect you to share your knowledge with co-workers by participating in continuous risk communication trainings, and in case of a product recall you will lead, coordinate and manage all activities through the IKEA product recall process.

Is this your next challenge?
To be a successful Risk Communication Advisor you need several years of broad working experience both strategically and operational.
· Education with emphasis on information and communication.
· Fluent spoken and written English combined with a passion for words.
· Knows and understands the IKEA culture and values.
· Experienced in practicing analysis methods.

You are a person with strong drive, excellent communication skills and a good judgment, able to take the lead in stressful situations.
We believe you are able to understand the whole picture in a situation, actively seeking input and feedback from experts and colleagues. You also have an interest in media with the ability to understand and evaluate risks of negative media attention. Finally, you are experienced enough to know when it's important to act, and when not.
Having a global responsibility, you both understand and enjoy the challenges of working in a cross-culture environment.

The position can at times put high demands on your ability to prioritize and keep a cool head, but if you are a skilled communicator that enjoys strategic thinking combined with hands-on action, this could be your next job.
