Arbetsbeskrivning
Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. This will require new ways of thinking and working. We need to develop the capabilities to deliver complete solutions with speed and flexibility in close customer collaboration and do this in a way that inspires and empowers our employees.
Right now, we have a unique opportunity at Purchasing within the area of governance, compliance, and risk management. With the combination of increasing internal ambitions and new external guidelines, these areas are growing in scope and complexity. Therefore, we are now looking for a new awesome colleague who will take on the role as a business developer with a dedicated focus on Risk and Compliance to become part of our fabulous team.
The position
As a Business Developer with focus on governance, risk and compliance, you will be part of the network of risk and compliance professionals within Scania, with interfaces to TRATON Group and to VW.
You will:
• Be Purchasing’s first point of contact for governance, risk or compliance-related topics
• Manage audits, internal as well as external
• Policy implementations
• Updated governance structures
• Execute and continuously improve recurring activities such as risk reviews
You will lead the work to find pragmatic and efficient solutions together with colleagues in various parts of purchasing. In doing that, you ensure that purchasing maintains a high performance within these areas in a way that makes sense for the organisation.
As this is a completely new role for us, you’ll have a high level of influence in defining the role and its content together with your manager and other relevant stakeholders.
Who are you?
We believe that you are professional and take pride in doing things right, while constantly challenging the status quo. You are customer-oriented and understand the importance of seeing your deliveries in the context in which they are used.
You are self-motivated and have no problem planning and prioritizing your own work. You are a positive and genuine team player who is happy to reach out to anyone whose perspective adds value. You listen to others and are open to changing your mind, while also being brave enough to stand up for what you know to be right. You are a clear communicator verbally as well as proficient in producing documents and presentations.
English is your everyday language at work, while fluency in Swedish is an advantage. You have a relevant university degree, for example within business or engineering, and you have a minimum of two years of experience from either business development, Scania Purchasing, or risk & compliance-related roles or tasks.
If you think that you are the right person for this task, we very much look forward to your application!
What we offer
We offer a unique opportunity to build a role from scratch, with a high level of independence and the ability to influence how we operate at purchasing. You will build upon your skillset in areas such as communication, leading projects, and business development.
With multiple interfaces across purchasing and Scania, you will also have the opportunity to build a strong network within the company, across departments and hierarchies.
Perhaps most importantly, you will join a diverse department and team where we care for, encourage and challenge each other every day to achieve fantastic results we are all proud of. It’s not only a place full of skilled colleagues, but also a place where laughter is never far away and where a helping hand when you need it is ever-present.
