What You Will Do
As a Risk Framework Specialist, you will be part of the second line function and report to the Head of Risk Policy and Reporting.
Work on developing and improving the risk framework ensuring that Nasdaq Clearing is aligned with policies and regulations, and preparing risk appetite statements and reports to the Board.
Navigate through different regulatory changes and ensure that Nasdaq Clearing is implementing these changes efficiently.
Work on policy improvements, understand the overall organization governance, and draft policies to improve and complement the risk framework
Work with risk assurance and be responsible for preparing communication material describing Nasdaq Clearing’s risk framework to relevant governing committees and partners.
Take the lead in preparing and coordinating material for Risk Committees and Board meetings.
Support in the development of Nasdaq Clearing’s recovery framework as well as the ESG risk framework.
What We Expect
Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or related field
5-10 years of work experience within financial and non-financial risk management
Proven track record in developing and communicating appropriate risk management, strategies, and processes
Proven track record in policy development
Solid experience in governance management, preparing for and participating in Risk Committees and Forums.
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills in a constantly growing environment
Ability to work with internal and external collaborators
Excellent command in English both written and spoken
