Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) - a service provider working exclusively for Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for an experienced Risk Manager to join our global organization, and to be an integrated part of the newly appointed CIP Chief Risk Officer's (CRO) team.
You will join a highly motivated group of colleagues with extensive experience within investments and delivery of energy infrastructure assets (offshore/onshore wind, solar, thermal and PtX).
The role is based in Copenhagen and will support our global projects and project companies. Regular travels (on a monthly basis) will be a requirement.
The role
Your main responsibility will be to lead the Risk Management function within CISC in all its jurisdictions and across all our projects. You will be responsible for CISC's Enterprise Risk Management, advising the business and reporting on various risks, including but not limited to project, regulatory, people, and other risks.
Responsibilities will further consist of but are not limited to:
- In close collaboration with CISC's CEO and CIP's CRO and aligned with CIP's risk methodology, develop and run the Enterprise Risk Management Framework for CISC
- Ensure transparent and consistent risk management within the agreed risk appetite
- Through an effective Risk and Control Assessment (RCA) process ensure that all material risks are handled effectively and in accordance with CIP's risk methodology
- Proactively coordinate and oversee the identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting of risks
- Ensure implementation of an efficient and effective incident management culture
- Ensure that all issues e.g. from auditors, ESG reports etc. are being tracked to completion
- Provide effective and efficient awareness training across CISC
- Produce risk reports to CISC and CIP senior management
- Regular travels to all CISC (and CIP) offices and projects in EMEA, APAC, Americas, Oceania

The successful candidate
We are looking for a candidate holding a relevant master's degree, e.g. MSc in Business Administration, Master of Laws, Project management or another relevant field, with approximately 7-10 years of work experience from a similar position ideally in an international setting. Experience from a risk function in the financial sector or the energy sector is an advantage.
We look for the following in a candidate
- Robust experience to ensure a value adding managing of risks in a financial, fast growing, project-based, global organizations
- Ability to engage with a large variety of employees, project stakeholders and senior executives
- Experience from project management, risk, audit, compliance or ESG and familiarity with large project development, illiquid assets management, due diligence or asset management processes
- Strong people, cultural and geographical awareness that will enable the candidate to ensure that risks are identified, measured, monitored, managed, controlled and reported in a transparent way
- High integrity and positive attitude
- A great team-player with a high energy level, willing to do hands-on work. Currently the role is an individual contributor role, however with substantial indirect leadership required
- Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively and independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
- Determined, structured, and likes to work in an international, fact-based environment
- Fluency in English both verbal and writing, fluency in Danish is an advantage but not required
