Are you interested in helping Swedbank understand, assess and manage structural balance sheet risks?
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Join Balance Sheet Analysis in Group Risk, a team that has the risk ownership for structural risks in the balance sheet and is in particular responsible for analysing and monitoring the development and need of liquidity and capital risk
- Become a key player in the analysis of Swedbank’s structural balance sheet risks, with a special focus on liquidity risk
- Participate in and lead projects within the team and across department as needed
- Work closely together with Group Treasury to understand, assess and monitor liquidity and funding risks
- Work with quantitative and qualitative problem solving on structural risks to the bank, by identifying, quantifying, analysing, monitoring, and reporting on structural risks
- Prepare analyses and material sent to both Group Risk Management and the Bank’s Board of Directors, supporting decision making and strategy discussions
- Collaborate with other departments in the bank to enhance our joint understanding of how structural risks can be quantified
What is needed in this role:
- To be an analytical and open-minded team player with a genuine interest in banking, finance and risk analysis
- Be curious and not afraid to take on whatever task and project that comes in your way and you always look for ways to improve
- The ability to take ownership of your assignments, and you can present complex ideas and facts in a clear and concise way
- Master’s degree in finance, engineering, mathematics, economics, or other relevant field
- Minimum 5 years experience from banking, finance and/or financial authorities
- Experience from working with liquidity risk management is very meriting
- Experience from statistical tools such as SQL and SAS is meriting
- Understanding and experience in banking and a desire to learn more
- Strong presentation and analytical skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English, both in written and spoken form
